Winter Car Covers

This time of year it is a good idea to cover your vehicle. The wet and cold weather can be very hard on your car or other vehicle. If you live in the Eastern part of the country your will receive many benefits from covering your vehicles. Likewise living in the Western part of the country you will also receive benefits from covering your vehicles. The weather can be hard on your vehicles in both parts of the country.

First we will talk about the Eastern part of the US, covering your vehicles can save you money and time. When you have a snow storm that covers your car it is hard to clear the snow and ice from your windows, and the doors may freeze shut making it a real job to get in your car and go to work or other destination. The window wipers sometimes stick to the windows and when you go to scrape then the wiper rips apart costing you money and time getting new wipers. If you cover your car with the Elite Car Cover made for the environment you live in you will not have to scrape your windows or try to thaw out the door locks to get in. You won't have to replace your wiper blades because they have ripped from sticking to the window due to the ice and snow. A vehicle cover will save you time and money.

Now living in the Western part of the country there are a lot of states that also receive snow this time of year. If you are in the lower states that are still getting the sun most of the time you will still want to cover your vehicle. Dealing with snow can cost you time and money like I said before. Living in the Western part of the country you will have more UV rays to hurt your car and other vehicles. The UV rays from the sun will damage your finish and dry out the interior of your vehicle. Things like plastic and cloth will dry out and start to crack and fall apart and your dash will fade and crack and this will hurt the of the vehicle when you go to sell it.

There is one thing that I would like to bring up; even in both parts of the country there is a cover that will help this time of year. This cover is the iCover or half cover. This cover is easy to install and take off and covers only the top part of your car or SUV. It has many uses in that it will keep the snow and ice off your windows, it will keep the suns UV rays out of the interior and keep your valuables out of sight keeping them safe from thieves. The new iCover has become the gift of choice this year in car covers. It has a price that keeps with the economy we are now dealing with. So if you are looking for a great gift for somebody you care about this year, this is the one.

Car Covers And Todays Economy

Well it's that time of year when we all are busy buying gifts for all of our friends and family. This year it will be harder than ever to find the money to do this. When it comes to buying gifts this year, we need to think real hard and select a gift that has the most bang for the buck. When I say the most bang for the buck I mean a gift that well help somebody save money. In today's economy we don't have money to throw away and we need to give gifts that are useful and will help save money for our friends and family.

One of those gifts is a vehicle cover, a vehicle cover will help you save money by protecting your investment. If you have a car, SUV, truck, van, limousine, RV or other vehicle it is a good idea to cover them and keep them from losing their value. When your vehicle sits outside in the environment it will suffer. For instance, the paint fading or scratches and dings from things that come in contact with it. Like, in your driveway or in your garage and even parked in the street, it seems that as hard as you try to protect your vehicle every time your wash it you find those little dings, scratches and damage to the finish.

When you take the time to cover your vehicle you will benefit from the time and effort it takes. With a cover you protect your vehicle from people just walking by and rubbing on your car. How many times have you gone out to get in your car and there is somebody leaning up against it or sitting on the front fender or bumper. Even in the garage when you get the trash cans out you run the risk of scratching or dinging the vehicle. The cover won't just protect the exterior but also protect the interior from drying out your dash and the UV rays from the sun will fade your interior as well.

There is a new cover out this year that could make a great gift for somebody you care about. It's the iCover or Top Half Cover. This cover only covers the top part of your car. There are many benefits from this cover, like not having to scrape the snow and ice from your windows early in the morning and helping keep your car or SUV from getting too hot in the summer sun. Keeping your valuables out of sight while you are in the store shopping and all your gifts are right there for somebody to steel is also a great use for this cover. This cover only takes a few minutes to install and remove making it one of the hottest items this year in vehicle covers.

So when you think of what to buy your family and friends this holiday, think of something that will save them money and help keep the value of there vehicle. If you would like more information on vehicle covers and accessories please visit www.ClickitCoverit.Com.

This Is The Season To Be Covering Your Vehicles

Winter is here and your car needs protection. Better yet, why not give the gift of protection to those you love this holiday season. Vehicle covers can be a welcome gift, especially when the snow is piling up outside. For your friend who just purchased a new car, for your granddads 57 Chevy, whatever the case, you can't go wrong protecting their vehicles. Make this holiday a happy one for the ones you love.

Why cover your vehicles? Depending on where you live this winter there are covers to keep your vehicles protected and dry. Winter really is hard on your vehicles, the ice and moisture can damage the finish on your vehicles and if you have a leak then your interior will suffer also. There are several types of covers to chose from, like the one layer covers for using in your garage or when you park your vehicle under a carport. Then there are covers that have more than one layer, like the three and four layer covers for covering your vehicles exterior in the winter weather. The three layer car covers protect your vehicles from the sun, rain, ice and snow. The 4 layer covers can protect you from all the elements and also be very nice to your cars paint job with the extra inside layer of fleece.

How to find the car cover you need. There are several places you can look, for instance auto parts stores, retail stores and more. You may decide to do it the easy way, online using the internet to search out the cover you need. There are many search engines to use, the top are Google, Yahoo. MSN and Bing. These search engines are easy to use and will help you narrow down the sites to make your car cover purchase. Just enter the search phrase to find the type of cover for your vehicle, like car cover, truck cover, SUV cover etc. Be sure you check there shipping, warranty and return policies. You may also want to check to see if there has been any complaints filled against their website.

The holidays are just a few weeks away so now is the time to get your order in and have time to receive and wrap your gift and get it under the tree. When you make your cover purchase you might want to check with the shipping department to see if it will arrive in time for the holidays. The gift of a vehicle cover will be a wonderful thing to do for somebody you love. And every time they use the cover in the mornings and they don't have to scrape their car windows before work, I'm sure they will be thinking of you. That makes a vehicle cover a great gift for the holidays.

Were Back From Ecuador

Hello everybody we are back from Ecuador and have some Videos and Pictures to share with you. We loved the country and have made plans to go back soon. The country of Ecuador is feeling the effects of global warming. This is the rainy season and they haven't had any rain yet. Many of the states to the south in Ecuador are running out of water to make there electricity and they are having to ration the power, in the evenings the power is off till early mornings. The people and animals are suffering from the lack of rain and we hope it will rain soon.

We were going to go to the south and to see more of Ecuador but we just stayed in the Northern Highlands around Cotacachi, Otavalo and Iabarra. There were many reports about the worst drought in 50 years happening in the South of Ecuador. So we just stayed in the North and maybe on our next trip to Ecuador we will visit the South. Even thought we stayed in the North we still had a very good time, there was more then we could visit in one week. So, all in all it was a great time and we plan to go back soon.

Here are some videos from our trip.

Trip To Cotacachi Ecuador

Quito, Ecuador

Hello everybody; my wife Elin and I are heading to Ecuador this coming week and would love to share the trip with you. We will be landing on Sunday, November 8 at 1:44 pm at Mariscal Sucre Intl. airport in Quito Ecuador. This city is set in a valley which sits at an elevation of 9,500 ft. and the mountains around it range from 16,000 to 20,000 ft. in elevation. From there we will rent an SUV and drive North to Otavalo to stay the first night. Otavalo is home of the largest outdoor market place in South America. I'm sure my wife and I will love looking for gifts for our friends and family back home, especially since it's close to the holidays. The people of Ecuador are wonderful, and make all kinds of cloths made from alpaca wool, and we're told the fresh vegetables are the best, you can buy two dozen roses for $2.00, and the cost of travel is very low in their country.

Day 2: We will be going to Cotacachi just north of Otavalo about a 20 minute drive. This is where we will be looking for a place to purchase a home or condo. Elin and I have traveled to lots of places and after sometime we have decided to look in Ecuador for a future place to live. We think the time is right and the real estate market in Ecuador is looking like a good investment. Cotacachi has about 6,000 people and is famous for their leather market, they even have a street called Leather Street. There are cities very close to Cotacachi that have all the big stores and they can be reached in a quick 40 minute drive. We will spend two or three days there.

Day 3 & 4: Heading South back through Quito to the city of Ambato pop. 215,000. This city is known for their flowers. They have a street market where you can buy a big variety of beautiful flowers, We will spend the day there and then off to Banos pop.15,000. The land of waterfalls and mountain biking, Taking a road called "La Ruta de las Cascadas" ( Highway of the waterfalls) from Banos to Puyo. On this road you will find the 8th wonder of the world here a waterfall called Pailon del Diablo (Devil's Cauldron) which is breath taking. You can check this out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgOdywQGDRo&feature=related. We will stay at www.hostel-banos-pequenoparaiso.com for a day to unwind and relax, and then off to Cuenca.

Day 5: Cuenca pop. 420,000. After Quito, Cuenca is Ecuador's most important and beautiful colonial city. This is our second choice for a home or condo. We have heard a lot of good things about Cuenca and plan to check it out. This will be as far south as we will travel. We will be heading back North after a day or so. Most likely to the coast and then North to Quito for our flight home. We will be taking videos and lots of pictures so come back and check this blog again after Nov. 20 and see what we have found on our trip to Ecuador.
